We provide hope and possibilities for single moms, guided by Psalm 139:13-14

This is Our Mission
To provide needed resources to single mothers and their children who face obstacles in their lives and assist them in working through their hardships.
We support moms in times of transition by helping them meet some of their most basic needs. We help provide access to basic necessities for infant children, food, shelter, clothing, household and personal hygiene items, and more.
We also offer access to a variety of educational components such as life skills and parenting classes, financial literacy, and basic home maintenance.
Our Founder
Monica Cole’s vision through Nana’s House is to ensure that moms receive all of the resources needed to care for their children as they are jointly fitted together. Nana’s House demonstrates God’s love and creates a community that comes alongside those mothers requiring assistance.
In our community, there are children with unmet needs, and their devoted mothers may not always be able to fulfill them. God has a plan for each person’s life and He knew it even before we were created.
In the future Nana’s House will offer maternity housing, mobile ultrasound services, and a food pantry for families, providing them with a better quality of life. Nanas House brings HOPE.
Inspired By
Nana’s House was inspired by my mother, Barbara Lawrence Ballou (1932-2018) whose life mission was to help others. She believed that if she could help somebody, then her living would not be in vain.
Through small acts of kindness, she did all that she could to help mothers get the resources that they needed to make it through a crisis situation and reminded them that “God loved them and she did too.”
